How has this Book been misused in ways that shaped historical events and societies?
There are many today who say Christ must come very soon. Does He? Christians, who hold to this belief, have a tendency to lay down their responsibility of explaining God's will through his Word, thereby no longer aiding people in making decisions in daily life in overcoming the world. What happened to the Law of God in our churches? What about finance and economics...homes...ethical decision making? We are to disciple the nations in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. The book is misused. There are many that claim visions and dreams, presuming they are from God, quoting Revelation in the process. We must be guarded and understand the proper use of the book so we can properly teach and properly warn.
