Bible study commentators and countless Bible study tools, writings and aids address the tragic era and "Wars of the Lord" fought by King David to protect his people, Israel, from invasion (Philistines, Moabites, Amalekites, Ammonites), civil wars (the house of Saul, Absolem, Abner), bandits (I Samuel 25), the massive debt-laden economy, the tyranny (of Saul, Absolem), social chaos and plague.
Bible studies, tools, aids and biblical commentators abound throughout Christendom which have written of Solomon's wisdom, prosperity, and unrivaled "peace and plenty". Following David's reign, Solomon took over the rule of Israel and ... there was peace, stability and prosperity
